Engraved corporate gifts often confuse experienced buyers – and if truth be told, promotional gift sales people as well – who ask for engraving when they mean etching; and they are not alone in not quite knowing the difference.

Hand engraving is not used to engrave a personalized business gift now due to the economics of the labour market; and it slow, expensive and not very accurate and only seen in some departmen stores for engraving one-off pen gifts. Also, it is no where near as good as laser engraved corporate gifts.

If you want intricate and complex motifs and logos to be reproduced reasonably cheaply then laser engaraving is the process of choice.
